stray too far

life is a funny thing. one day you're up ... everything is going your way. the next day ... you wonder why everyone turned their backs on you.

i work in a profession in which if you have nothing to offer 75% of the people ... they have nothing to offer you. maybe things aren't clicking for me or for some people i work with ... but the big guns upstairs don't seem to want to do anything to help. we tell them what we need ... they send us back with even more than we came with ... unless you're adding in the crappy morale.

i don't know. i really enjoy putting on the news and it's definitely a challenge ... which is something i can always appreciate. but i enjoy challenges that are surmountable ... if you work hard enough. i mean, what's the point of putting all of your energy into something that may very well give you nothing back?

i dunno. it was kind of a bad week so maybe i'm looking at this through shit colored glasses.

another thursday tornado is on the way. on the ground in beatrice. tyson says it's the best set-up he's seen since he's been in the area. scares the living shit out of me ... maybe that's why it's on the glasses.
